A UW Arboretum Engagement Photoshoot – Seattle Engagement Photographer
This was somehow my first time shooting a UW arboretum engagement. I offer a complimentary engagement shoot with every wedding package, and as a Seattle engagement photographer have explored many of the cities parks that way.
But the arboretum had eluded me until this day, when I spent an hour with Tess and Ben exploring. We arrived just before the golden hour, when the light was still daylight clean. Quickly a beautiful sunset developed, casting the couple in magenta hued red light.
As we crossed under the 520 bridge, there was an amazing spot where the couple could stand framed by both halves of the bridge. I’ve since returned to that spot a handful of times and in the last few months has become a favorite spot for engagement photos.
We ended the session on memory point, jutting out into Union Bay, the light fading behind Husky stadium.
